Explorer Dome Workshop

Yesterday Explorerdome came to Abbey Park school to deliver a roadshow demonstrating the properties of solids, liquids and gases to year 8. The pupils were shown exciting experiments, daring demonstrations and were able to get hands on in a few elements of the show. The show set out to encourage pupils to question the world around them, think critically, promote observation skills and imaginative thinking. There was a fantastic buzz throughout the day! Well done year 8 for engaging with the event, asking some great questions and linking their learning to a different context.

A massive thank you for Mr Sharp for organising such a fantastic event. It was really lovely to see pupils engaging really well with science.

Thank you to all staff who helped to run the event, gave over a lesson to enable it to run and allowed pupils out of your normal lessons.
